Congratulations to Siddharth Gupta and Vipul Kumar of Class 7 for their groundbreaking innovation, 'Barrier-Free Mobility Movement for Blind People,' under the theme Mobility.
Their innovative stick, designed to aid blind individuals in walking with ease, uses sensors, speakers, Arduino, and a camera to detect obstacles and provide haptic feedback through vibrations. The intensity of vibrations increases as the distance to an object decreases, helping the user stop in time. Additionally, it provides voice messages to alert the user of their surroundings. The camera offers a description of the environment, allowing the user to experience the beauty of the world. This innovative device essentially provides computer vision to the blind.
