School Events

  Title : Investiture Ceremony -Vowing to commit to responsibilities

The school held the formal ceremony of bestowing the responsibilities to the young leaders on 10 May 2016. The ceremony was given a befitting start with a melodious rendition of a song on the theme Heroism.

The oath was administered by the Principal Ms.Alka Kapur wherein the newly  elected Members vowed to follow the path of truth and to work with sincerity and integrity. Harshit Jain and Ananya Mittal of class XII were elevated to the post of chief Head Boy and Chief Head Girl respectively. Parth Jindal and Shrestha Rajput were sworn as the Head Boy and Head Girl of the senior wing along with Govind Ramuka and Hrithika Grover as the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. The other members of the Student Council who took the oath were the house captain and members of various councils such as cleanliness, discipline and Eco Club. The moments also witnessed the Award Ceremony wherein meritorious students of class Pre-School to XII were felicitated for their distinguished performance in the filed of academic and co-curricular activities.

The Principal , Ms. Alka Kapur congratulated the council members and wished them luck for their future endeavours. The day wrapped with the rendition of National Anthem. 

         
         
  Title : Earth Day Activity Result

Celebrating Earth day is a great way to showcase classroom environmental education and engage the whole school community making a difference to the environment. The day is a clarion call to each one in the school to be the better stewards of the Earth. Keeping this in view Earth Day was celebrated in the school on 22 April 2016 with great joy and enthusiasm. The day witnessed many enthralling and exuberant activities which were euphorically attended by the students. Tree plantation, card making, rangoli making and science quiz were the highlights of the programme for the junior wing. Activities like poster making and slogan writing were organized for classes VII and X respectively to imbibe fine arts skills along with the love for nature.  The whole school was filled with heart-warming and ecologically poignant art works and displays done by students. The children pledged to save the mother Earth from the threats of global warming, pollution, deforestation and drought. The initiative was highly commendable and a way to express how much we care about the future of our planet.

         
       
  Title : Clay Modeling Activity

To nurture the sensory development of young minds clay modeling activity was organized for students of class VII on 19 April 2016. It was a wonderful display of fine motor skills and dexterity of students as they created butterflies, flowers , snails and cartoon characters out of play-dough. This activity was not only therapeutic but also promoted imaginative problem solving skills.

 
  Title : Poster Making Activity

Creativity knows no bounds.

To harness the creative skills of our young achievers, poster making activity was held for students of class VIII on 6 May 2016. This activity was a favoured medicine to stimulate and develop craft ship amongst students. It brought a vast inflow of innovative ideas and encouraged students to think out of box. Students represented their ideas on a colourful medium which was a feast for senses. The activity proved to be an effective tool for evaluating the inquisitiveness and knowledge of the students.

  Title : Orientation Programme 2016

Your Children- Our Assets

To familiarize our dear parents, as partners in progress with the curriculum, rules and regulation of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities, an Orientation Programme was organized in the school on 27 March 2016. The programme was graced by Ms. Ramon Llamba, life and soul coach, she was accompanied by Mr. Manu Rawal, a renowned Fashion Designer and an expert life coach , Madam Principal Ms. Alka Kapur and made the day special with their benign presence.

The programme commenced with a soulful rendition of a welcome song followed by a mesmerizing culture show that set the stage ablaze and left the audience spellbound. The annual school report was read out which highlighted the superlative accomplishments of our ingenious and brilliant students.

         
       
  Title : Sky is the Limit for those who are not afraid of flying

Our school accorded a warm welcome to Dr. Koichi Wakata- JAXA Astronaut on 8 February 2016. Dr. Wakata has accumulated 347 days, 8 hours and 33 minutes in space, setting a record in Japanese human space flight history for the longest stay in space. Indeed, it was a moment of pride for our school to be chosen as the only school in India for the visit by Dr. Wakata. Dr. Wakata in his presentation on Current Status of Manned Space, Flight and Future Expectations awakened the childhood dreams about exploration and becoming an astronaut. He shared his experiences of his expedition to space in his space shuttle, ?Endeavour?. Students were enthralled to see the videos reflecting his operations and happenings in his various flights which included Robotic arm operations and Japanese Experiment Module Kit. His analytical interaction with the students was highly enriching. It was one -of  a- kind experience for the Modernites to meet an astronaut of such a stature.

         
         
  Title : Farewell Ceremony

Goodbye may seen forever, but in the heart is a memory and there you shall always be. Farewell comes as a Spectrum of rainbow bathed in sad tears of Joy.

This paradox is the fittest, description to the host of outgoing students who are armoured to face the world with values, determination and commitment. The school organized Sai Sandhya on the occasion of the Farewell Ceremony of class XII. The students were accorded a traditional welcome. Draped in elegant sarees and formal Suits, the twelthies had a day of fun and nostalgia as they were guests in the premises where they themselves had played host to various functions and events. The staff members and the students were mesmerized and engrossed with the melodious, pious and evoking Bhajans. Tenders emotions ran high in each and everyone as they traversed down the memory lane of past twelve years spent in school. The principal, Ms. Alka Kapur blessed the students and spoke to them about the need to be focussed and true to oneself. She advised the students to contribute to the society in their chosen field and wished them for their approaching board exams.

         
         
  Title : ANNUAL EVENT COLOSSEUM

Our school celebrated the Annual Event Colosseum with the theme One Vision One World on 31 January 2016 at Chhatrasal Stadium, Model Town, with great alacrity. The Chief Guests for the occasion were Justice S.N Dhingra and The Famous Wrestler Mr. Sushil Kumar. For details click read more.

     
  Title : Republic Day Celebrations

The school hosted the 67 Republic Day celebration on 25 January 2016. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the Tri Colour by the honourable Principal.
