  Title : Emerging victorious as always

Adding glory to our outstanding achievements, our school has been conferred with Best Interact Club Award for the year 2015-16 by the Rotary Club of Delhi Aakash. This recognition gave a true meaning to the selfless service provided while reaching out the community as a whole. 

  Title : Run for Rio, a Symbol of Agility and Energy

With an endeavour to celebrate the Olympic mood, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports through the Sports Authority of India organized a Mass Run called Run for Rio on July 31, 2016. It was flagged off by the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Our students participated in great number with zeal and enthusiasm. The run commenced from Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium and concluded at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. The objective of the run was to not only demonstrate to our athletes that the whole country is proud of them but also to connect the children with the Olympic spirit and power of sports. It was indeed a welcoming experience for all.  

  Title : Global Tiger Walk

A team consisting of three teachers and thirty students attended the Walk for the Tiger on the occasion of International Tiger Day organized by The National Tiger Conservation Authority, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Government of India on Friday 29 July 2016 from Rajpath to India Gate. The objective for the drive was to spread awareness for saving our national animal. Students shouted slogans and proliferated the message of Save Tiger, Save Forests, Save Future.

  Title : Story Telling Activity (Inter house)

Story telling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today.

Stories have power. They delight, enchant, touch, teach, inspire and motivate us by imprinting images in our mind. The learners of class IV experienced the same during English Story Telling Competition organized for them on 28 July 2016. Stories on the themes Nature, Fairy Tales, Mother and Animals were presented by the participants of Gandhi, Subhash, Nehru and Tagore house respectively. The emotions and learning that the stories held touched the heart of everyone present. 

  Title : Spelling Bee.......Buzzing With Words

With an aim to help students learn to spell quickly, accurately and with comprehension, an Inter House Spelling Bee Competition was organised for the students of class VIII on July 27, 2016. Students were provided with a worksheet with multiple choice questions. They participated with great enthusiasm and dueled with the toughest words. This wonderful learning source  also helped in enriching the vocabulary of the students. 

  Title : Emptor Club Spreading Awareness for Natural Remedies

The Emptor Club of the school organized an event to create awareness amongst the parents and society at large on 23 July 2016 in the school. On the occasion of Parent Teacher Meeting, the club apprised the parents about benefits of using herbal supplements like tulsi, aloevera, honey, vegetables etc and use them as simple and quick remedies for general illness such as fever, cold, cough, controlling sugar level etc. The overwhelming response of the parents motivated the club members and gave a new sense of purpose towards this awareness campaign. The parents appreciated the efforts of the school for organizing such an event. 

  Title : Blood Donation Camp To Raise Responsible Citizens

Blood Donation Camp was organized in the school in collaboration with Rotary Club Delhi, Akash District 3012 on 23 July 2016. More than 125 volunteers from among the students, faculty, parents, and staff members participated voluntarily in the camp. The camp helped the community in gaining awareness about Thalassemia.  There was a steady stream of donors from 8 am to 1 pm. 77 units were collected. Throughout the morning, there were smiles and laughter all around a true embodiment of what we believe in selfless service with a smile. The donors received certificate of recognition.

  Title : Workshop on The Science Of Breath

Art of living workshop on the science of breath was taken by Dr. Mona in summer break for the school students and staff from May 30 to 3 June 2016. Students were taught Sudarshan Kriya and other breathing techniques so as to enhance brain and immune system function and to reduce stress and depression. The Art of Living Program offered the students practical tools like Sudarshan Kriya and meditation to unlock the fullest potential. The participants learnt to practice wisdom to improve relationships and skills to handle the mind and negative emotions.

  Title : Yoga: an Embodiment of Heart and Soul

The international Yoga day was observed with much enthusiasm on June 21,2016 to bring peace, harmony , happiness and success to every soul. The students performed different yoga postures like Bhastrika,Bhujangasana, Suryanamaskar, Makarasana, Ushtraasana, with Pranayama and Meditation.

It was a great opportunity to imbibe  the value of discipline for holistic development of lives . The young followers understood that Yoga is a way to freedom and powerful natural state.
