  Title : 50th Birthday Celebration

MPS fraternity wished Madam Principal on her 50th birthday. She was given a red carpet reception along with the floral welcome. The kids expressed their gratitude through mellifluous rendition of birthday song.

MPS family wishes Madam Principal endless years of happiness and prosperity.


         
  Title : Role Play Activity - Class VIII

To energize the imagination and enhance the social development skills, Role play activity was conducted for class VIII on 30th July 2018. Students portrayed notable Indian politicians and scientists on stage. This activity proved to be a creative stimulus in kindling the imaginative and intellectual development of students.

       
  Title : Save the Rare! Save the Roar

Modern Public School revers the rich flora and fauna of the country and toils hard to inculcate the same among students. Treading the path, a plethora of activities including Sash Making, Mask Making and Board Decoration was organised for the students of classes VI-VIII on July 30, 2018. The students participated with great zeal and emerged with beautiful Tiger themed Masks and Sashes and embellished the bulletin boards creatively. The task was a huge success as the students learnt not only the worth of Tiger in the ecosystem but also to honour the diverse wildlife.


         
  Title : Atal tinkering fest

Modern public school , under the aegis of the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog hosted a two day Tinker Fest on 27 and 28 July 2018.
We believe in encouraging children to keep thinking , innovating and cultivating the spirit of curiosity and guide them in the pathway of development. Under the supervision of Mr. Nikhil Mishra (Director of Encypher Technologies Pvt. Ltd.& Co-Founder of Robogyan organization), Mr. Shashikant (Co-Founder of Encypher Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ), Mr.Alok Nikhil(Mentor of Change, Niti Aayog) and Mr. Aditya Arora(Mentor of Change, Niti Aayog) the two day fest provided a platform to witness young neoteric innovators working on prototypes and exhibits to solve various community problems. Their work emphasized skill development through Hands on Learning Methodology. During the event Mr. Aditya Arora conducted a mentoring session on Young Entrepreneurship and Innovation . Mr. Nikhil Mishra spoke to students on Internet of Things (IOT) : How it is going to affect our Future. The address was truly motivating towards fostering scientific acumen and inculcating skills of design mindset computational thinking and adaptive learning which is the need of the hour. The neighborhood schools were invited to participate in the fest .Student from classes VI to XI witnessed and applauded the endeavor whole heartedly.

         
       
  Title : Brochure Making Activity

Brochure making activity was organized for the students of class VI on July 20, 2018 in order to imbibe them with the information related to French Culture. The idea was to encourage the learners to learn more about the heritage of France. The students participated with great zeal and zest. The budding artists portrayed the festivals of France in the creative brochures. It was an engaging experience.

       
  Title : Spelling Bee

Spelling Bee was conducted on 19 July 2018, Thursday for the students of Class II, wherein the young minds explored the world of spellings. They tried their hands on the questionnaire given to them with great zeal. The activity proved to be a valuable educational experience for the learners.

 
  Title : Health Check-Up Camp

A Healthy mind resides in a healthy body

The school organised a health check-up camp for all the students and staff on 7 July 2018 .The objective of the camp was to provide information regarding diet, exercise, weight control & other health related problems. A team of doctor from BLK Super Speciality Hospital conducted the camp.
The camp included general physical examination, Blood pressure, BMI, blood sugar, haemoglobin, thyroid & eye check up. Nearly 110 staff members & almost all the students availed the services provided by the qualified experts who recommended appropriate precaution and measures. A Health record was maintained for each student. The camp was a huge success.

 

         
  Title : Brain Teaser Activity

A Brain Teaser Activity was conducted for the students of class III on 15 May 2018, wherein the young minds solved some Mental Maths Problems that enriched their mathematical skills. Students participated in the activity with great zeal and various concepts of Mathematics were recapitulated in fun ways. 

 
  Title : English Recitation Competition Class II

Poetry is the music of life
An English Recitation Competition was organized for the students of class II on the theme My Country My Pride on 10 May 2018 (Thursday) to instill the feeling of patriotism and love for the motherland. The participants expressively depicted the beautiful and diverse culture of India through their poems. The vibrant costumes worn by them for the day were the highlight of the event. The judges appreciated and applauded their efforts.

       
  Title : Investiture Ceremony

Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. Warren Bennis .

To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, the Investiture Ceremony was held on 3 May 2018 in the school premises. The guest of honor for the occasion was Mr. Ankit Pannu , IAS officer ,the proud alumnus of our school batch -2012.The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. 

The student council was conferred with badges, appointment letters and sashes by the Guest of honour, Mr. Ankit Pannu and Madam Principal, Mrs. Alka Kapur.  The students council took the pledge to hold the school motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honour in high esteem. Mr. Ankit Pannu congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values. He reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers and struggles help one to achieve heights.
The Principal also appreciated and congratulated them. She advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the students council for the smooth running of the school. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
