The school organized the Annual Installation Ceremony of
Interact Club on 25 August 2018. It witnessed a plethora of cultural events.
The chief guest of the event was Rtr. Vivek Sardana, Director New Generation
along with Rtr. Ankur and alumnus Vishal Jain and Sakshi Anand. The event was
followed by the collaring of the newly appointed president Drishti Kumar along
with Nitya Arora as the fourth consecutive zone interact representative chosen
from our school. The new team of board of directors was also chosen. The guests
concluded the session by enlightening and motivating the new team leaders as
well as members about the importance of interaction and the need of social
Title : Raksha Bandhan Band Making
Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the bond
of love between a brother and a sister. It is the deepest and noblest of all
human emotions. To celebrate this festival a Raksha Bandhan Band Making
activity was organized for the students of classes II and III on 24 August 2018
(Friday). Students made beautiful bands using different articles like silken
thread, ribbon and various decorative materials. Their creativity was quite
fascinating. The activity was enjoyed thoroughly by one and all.
Title : Clean India-a better India
The scholars of class IV had an informative yet entertaining
session during a Create Your Ad competition held for them on 21.08.2018
(Tuesday). The interhouse programme included four breathtaking performances on
the theme Clean Water and Sanitation. Every presentation reinforced the
importance of sanitation in our surroundings. The judges applauded the efforts
of the participants. The result for the same is as follows.

A special assembly was conducted on Problems are not
stop signs, they are guidelines on 16th August 2018 by the students of class X-C ,X-D and X-E.
The students very well depicted the life story of great personalities like
Sudha Chandran, Shah Rukh Khan and Helen Keller who survived all odds in life.
Divya, Lavya Khanna, and Himani Bhandari Communicated the great message of not
to give up in life using sign language. The inspiring video and the speech by Himani Khullar and Bhavneet Kaur were the perfect
dose of motivation for all the modernites. Flawless recitation by Riya encouraged
the students to live their dreams.

Title : Independence Day : To soak in the spirit of valour and courage
With freedom in our minds, faith in the words, pride in our soul, We the MPS
fraternity celebrated the 72nd Independence Day on August 13, 2018. Madam
Principal Ms. Alka Kapur graced the occasion and unfurled the tricolor with all
her dignity and poise followed by the rendition of National Anthem. Drishti
Kumar delivered a heart rendering speech to delve upon the golden era of
freedom. Thereafter an informative video was shown on organ donation which is
commended on 13 August every year to encourage people to give organs as a gift
of life to the needy. To kindle the spark of patriotism, unstill pride and
project the trajectory of the freedom struggle, a scintillating performance was
showcased by the dance troupe on the theme A tribute to Indian Army. The audience
was enthralled by their performance. The day also witnessed finger printing in
kite and tearing pasting in flag by Pre School and Pre Primary students.
The programme culminated with the wises spread by Ma?am Principal where her
insightfulness spoke about the unseen heroes of the freedom struggle and a
salute to all the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our safety. The
entire event was indeed, entertaining and enriching experience for all.
Title : Hiroshima Day and Nagasaki Day
In August 1945, the United States of America dropped two
atomic bombs over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing scores
of people and injuring many. To know more about what happened to the people on
the fringes of the blast, two videos highlighting the negative impact of such
thoughtless actions were shown to the students. The students of classes II to V
demonstrated their learning enthusiastically by attempting a questionnaire
given to them to commemorate Hiroshima Day and Nagasaki Day on 9 August

Translate your vision into reality . An inter-house collage making activity was
organized for the students of class IX on August 8, 2018. The artists delved
into the theme of Indian Heritage aesthically wherein they showcased the fervour
of nationalism by making the outline of Indian flag, map and monuments using
paper. This event provided rostrum to essay their talents and love for the

She was given a red carpet reception along with the floral welcome. The kids

Title : Role Play Activity - Class VIII
To energize the imagination and enhance the social
development skills, Role play activity was conducted for class VIII on 30th
July 2018. Students portrayed notable Indian politicians and scientists on
stage. This activity proved to be a creative stimulus in kindling the
imaginative and intellectual development of students.
