Academic & Cultural Exchange Program Report: Day 3
The third day of the academic and cultural exchange program between MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL (MPS) from India and Evrika Lyceum SCHOOL in Azerbaijan was marked by a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the host school in Baku.
Upon arrival at EVRIKA LYCEUM SCHOOL, the Indian delegates from MPS were greeted with an overwhelming welcome. The welcoming ceremony featured a Bollywood song performance of "तुने मारी ऐनटरी यार दिल में बजी घंटी" and traditional as well as Bollywood dance performances by the students of the host school. The day began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony with the chanting of shlokas conducted by the team of MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL. The exchange of gifts between the two schools further symbolized the spirit of cultural exchange. The ceremony concluded with the rendition of both countries' national anthems.This was followed by a sumptuous Azerbaijani lunch served to the visiting Indian delegates, featuring a wide array of delectable dishes that delighted the senses and offered a taste of Azerbaijani cuisine. An exceptional gesture that touched the hearts of the MPS delegates was the principal of EVRIKA LYCEUM SCHOOL, Ms. Ofeliya Muradova, vacating her office and conference room for their use during the stay in Azerbaijan. This act of hospitality and respect left the MPS team feeling deeply honored.
The photos captured during the day's events serve as evidence of the warm reception and honor extended to the Indian delegates by the host school in Baku. The cultural exchange program continues to foster mutual understanding and appreciation between MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL and EVRIKA LYCEUM SCHOOL, creating lasting memories and strengthening bonds between the staff of both institutions.
